F1 2009 WILL NOT BE ON XBOX 360 AND PLAY STATION 3
Last year, Codemasters announced that it had won the right to produce games based on the Formula 1 racing series. Previously, the licence was held by Sony who made games exclusively for their consoles. The company said that the new game would launch "across multiple formats" and this led many to believe that this included Xbox 360.
Unfortunately, this is not the case for the first release. Codemasters announced this morning that F1 2009 will be available only for Wii and PSP, citing the fact that producing a game with HD visuals demands more time for development. The company has promised that an F1 game will release on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 in mid 2010, based on that season's lineup of cars and tracks.
The last F1 game to be released was F1 Championship Edition on PS3, back in 2006 and Xbox gamers haven't seen an F1 title since 2003's F1 Career Challenge.

Peccato (ma neanche troppo), lo tenevo un po' d'occhio sin dal giorno dell'annuncio.
